Wow - my wife and I visited Nelson from Vancouver in December for some skiing in the Kootenay Rockies. We stayed in Nelson for a night and went to All Seasons Cafe for dinner. The food was amazing and very well presented. They also have an excellent wine list. The bill came to a little over 100 bucks for the 2 of us (including a nice bottle of wine). Entrees are in the 20-30 dollar range, but well worth it. We don't usually splurge on dining, but a few of the locals recommended this place and we were very impressed. It would compare to some of the finer restaurants in Vancouver for a dining experience. The staff was very friendly as well. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, All Seasons is two thumbs up!

Our family loves East Indian food and we have been here at least a dozen times in the past year and a half. This is saying a lot as we don't live in Penticton, and we have a young family! Expensive gourmet food tastes good in a slightly above-average atmosphere. The wait staff are also slightly above-average but I wouldn't call them excellent as we had one with a bit of an attitude the last time we had lunch there. Not a bad view. The food is not consistant - we've been there for 3 lunches and each time someone at the table has been disappointed, including myself, although the last time we went there it was good. The welcoming committee as you enter are friendly, although each visit I've seen wait staff hanging around this area, joking with the greeter and that's not good. I don't suggest anyone sit near the patio doors (especially if you're a senior like us) as it can be cold and the wasps are inquisative.
